How to use our site.
We have tried to make things as simple as possible so you can easily find the wine you want.
Searching
- Search box - Type in the wine name/ food name or wine style. Actually type in anything and we will try to match it!
- Menu - The menu is divided into wines and cases. You can then drill down to the type of wine or case you want.
- Wine Details - When you view the wine itself we have included some interesting details at the bottom like producer and which foods the wine goes with. You can click on any of these and get similar wines - easy!
Buying
- Search Results Page - On the search results page you can enter the number of bottles you want and then click 'Add to basket'.
- Wine Details Page - On the wine details page you can enter the number of bottles you want and then click 'Add to basket'.
- Basket Page - You can amend any quantities you want here.
- Your account - You can see previous orders and even reorder your previous orders.
Keeping Track
At all times you can see how many items you have in your basket and the basket total at the top of the screen. You can preview the basket by clicking on the 'i' icon without going to the basket page.
Completing your order
When you have filled your basket (remember we have a minimum order of 6 bottles) you can click 'checkout' at the top of the screen or 'Proceed to checkout' on the basket page.
If you have shopped with us before then simply login and select your delivery address, or add a new one.
If you are new then please create an account with us. Fill in the required fields and click 'Register' You will then need to complete your billing address. As this is your first order we can only deliver to your billing address.
Then confirm your order and let us know your telephone number and any special instructions before we pass your to our secure payment pages in association with Protx.
Payment
We accept all cards except American Express. We have teamed up with Protx, the leading online payment gateway, to ensure all transactions are secure. Once you have completed the details here you will be redirected to our thank you page which will display your order id and our contact details.

FAQ's
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Mastreo and Delta. We do not accept American Express. We also accept cash and cheques for purchases made by phone or in person, subject to payment clearing/accompanied by a card.
How long will it take for the wines to be delivered?
From the point of placing your order Red Field Wine Merchants Ltd will endeavour to deliver within 10 working days and sometimes sooner. We use the independent carrier Amtrak to deliver wines on our behalf, they deliver Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. For local deliveries we aim to deliver the same day or next day subject to availability.
Can I make my own case up?
Yes, you can. Choose any wines from the wine lists and add to your basket, these will then be put together as your chosen case. There is a minimum order of six wines, and remember, if you buy twelve bottles you get a discount of 5%.
What happens if the bottle arrives spoiled or damaged?
If you are not satisfied with any bottle upon delivery for whatever reason or if any bottle arrives spoiled or damaged please call our customer care line 01803 527273 or email info@redfieldwines.co.uk. Damaged or spoiled wines will be replaced with the same or similar. You must notify us immediately of any wines received that have spoiled and we will arrange collection of that wine and will replace with the same or similar. We will not replace any spoiled wines that have been completely consumed.
What if I don’t like the wines I have bought?
You must notify us of any complaint immediately and any bottles returned must be done so at your own cost unless they have arrived damaged or spoiled.
